If there is one thing I find that everyone struggles with it is content. People don’t know what to post, when to post it, and what platforms it needs to be on.
A trick I use is to let popular hashtags on Instagram dictate the content for the week for every platform and even blogs. Don’t know what a hashtag is or how to use it, check out this Mashable article.
Whenever I am in a rut, I turn to popular hashtags for ideas of what to write or create content about.
If you don’t want to search for a hashtag, just turn to the most popular hashtags for each day of the week. Each day of the week has a hashtag that people use regularly. For example, did you know that #ThrowbackThursday is the most popular hashtag on the internet.
Need to set an editorial calendar or plan your content for the week, use the hashtags to dictate what you will post every day. For example, post an inspirational quote for #MotivationalMonday, a picture from a past event for #takemeback Tuesday, and on and on.
And no, you do not need to limit your post to Instagram, I use each hashtag as a jumping off point for content and post something on each platform or a blog. I then go back to Instagram to advertise and direct my Instagram audience back to the blog article, Facebook post, etc.
